Saudi Electricity Company Names Algnoon as CEO

Saudi Electricity Company said its board of directors has appointed Engineer Khalid Hamad Algnoon as its new CEO.  An industry veteran with over 35 years of experience working in different engineering and leadership positions, Algnoon had been the acting CEO since June 2021 when Fahad Al Sudairi stepped down from his post owing to personal reasons.

He holds a masters degree in business administration from Dublin university in Ireland and also a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from King Fahad University for Petroleum & Minerals, which he received in 1987. Algnoon had held several major positions including as executive director, distribution and customer services in the Saudi Electricity Company.
